Arnlea, global leader in industrial mobile software for tracking, inspection and maintenance for the energy industry, has appointed Andrew Ayton as Head of Product to provide additional focus and strategic direction for the development of its cloud-based software product Intrinsix and take the business forward as a SaaS, to speed its customers’ own digital transformation.
Chief Technical Officer, Andy Powrie said,
“Bringing Andrew in as our Head of Product is timely. We’ve been proactive and productive during 2020, listening to customers and we understand the direction our software needs to go next. Now Andrew will take the lead role in this process. It will elevate our Intrinsix product further and mean we’re able to support customers as they invest in their own digital transformation processes by having cloud-based software ready to meet requirements they’ve not even yet identified.”
Ayton joins Arnlea with 10 years’ experience developing product strategies for global clients and will be responsible for working with CTO Andy Powrie and the technical team while providing a valuable link with the Business Development and Marketing teams.
Allan Merritt, Arnlea’s CEO said,
“2020 has been, to say the least, a challenging year across our industry. At Arnlea, we have been able to carry on, with the team that we have, meeting customer needs by working from home, and latterly with some days in the office, as we’ve navigated the twists and turns of the pandemic. We didn’t need to furlough anyone and to be finishing this extraordinary year with newly signed contracts and in a position to recruit into a new role, and a more senior member of our team as well, really speaks of the strength and depth we have in our business. Bringing Andrew on board will only add to Arnlea’s capabilities and bring new operational benefits to our customers as Intrinsix is continually developed and upgraded.”
Arnlea is a tried and trusted partner for a number of global oil & gas clients, with more than 25 years’ expertise in supply chain management and operational management activities, providing software solutions to the energy industry.
